Those are the words of the Canada Customs official as Marcus and I attempted to enter Canada on Sunday. We had left Campobello Island that morning after preaching and had to come through Maine and then back to Canada since the ferry was now closed for the winter. It seems when crossing a border you are supposed to have a letter from the absent parent saying that you have their permission for you to take your child into that country. Since I didn't have that letter (and I looked dangerous with my white shirt, tie, and black dress pants) they asked me to go inside and go through the process to get that approval. Thankfully after a phone call to Kelly, we were on our way again.
